Hands-on Training

For our TIF2/EsophyX training courses, we train teams of two operators: the surgeon operating the EsophyX device and the skilled endoscopist. Surgeon training is set up after EGS receives the initial product order, and ideally is scheduled for within a month of the first patient case.

Training includes:

  • Didactic session with our clinical training team:
  • TIF  theory and procedure
  • EsophyX2 device operation and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on dry lab with human anatomical models
  • Hands-on wet or animal lab

Course sizes are small, allowing one-on-one interaction with instructors.

Reimbursement Assistance

EGS’ team of reimbursement experts will partner with you to help both the hospital or surgery center and physician maximize their reimbursement payments, avoid billing and payment issues, and implement successful third-party payment strategies for EGS procedures.
