Job Summary: Responsible for sales and physician-support of Company products within an assigned geographic region. Responsible for all aspects related to sales including but not limited to prospecting, qualifying leads, demonstrating devices, closing orders as well as building excellent customer relations with physicians and hospital personnel.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales plan and strategies for territory activities using Salesforce.com (SFDC) and Sales Process.
  • Ability to develop an implementation plan with existing accounts to market a program.
  • Demonstrate product, procedure and clinical knowledge by complete understanding of Company product.
  • Maintain close key customer contacts to continually determine customer needs.
  • Conduct sales presentations.
  • Actively market the Marketing Department initiatives.
  • Represent the Company at trade shows, exhibitions, training courses, conferences and events.
  • Recommend product enhancements/changes based upon market feedback and increased sales potential.
  • Work with and assist in developing Sales Representatives as added to Sales organization.
  • Public speaking presentations to a variety of audiences.
  • Other projects and assignments as required.

Position Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of surgical procedures with five or more years of medical device sales experience and ability to support procedure.
  • Experience in delivery of effective technical sales presentations to medical professionals.
  • Solid, documented sales success.

+-Manufacturing Assembler

Based in Redmond, WA, EndoGastric Solutions, Inc. (www.endogastricsolutions.com) is a medical device company focused on developing and commercializing innovative, evidence-based, incisionless surgical technology for the treatment of GERD.

We currently have an opportunity for a Manufacturing Assembler to participate in meeting production goals by utilizing mechanical assembly knowledge to build medical devices in a controlled environment with GMP experience.

Position Responsibilities:

  • In a controlled environment room, assemble components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies to written specifications and drawings
  • Perform in process inspection of components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies
  • Package sub-assemblies and finished medical devices as required per specification
  • Ensure proper use of inventory components and supplies in the manufacturing area
  • Communicate non-conforming production issues as they arise in a timely manner
  • Communicate deficiencies in current processes and equipment
  • Perform daily set-up and qualification of production equipment, fixtures and tooling per process specification
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineering and R&D in process and prototype development and validations through execution of structured test protocols/instructions
  • Adhere to departmental and organizational procedures, maintain current training records for all required standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and work instructions (WI’s)
  • Support quality system audits both internal and external as needed
  • Assist in effectively training operators in the assembly of components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies to written specifications and drawings
  • Complete assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner
  • Perform all duties listed above in a controlled environment room for extended periods of time
  • Perform related duties as assigned by Manager

Position Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more year’s relevant experience in medical device start-ups or other high reliability manufacturing environment OR equivalent relevant work experience
  • Experience in working with ISO/QSR corrective action systems
  • Exposure to FDA requirements for documentation methods
  • Experience executing daily duties within a “clean room” environment for extended periods of time preferred
  • Experience in working in GMP environment
  • Required to wear protective clothing for handling materials and work within a cleanroom environment wearing gloves, hair covers, lab coats, safety glasses/goggles and face masks
  • Equipment knowledge and process experience for mechanical and electromechanical assembly; including microscopes, adhesive bonding, hermetic sealing, and crimping/swaging
  • Ability to understand and follow written assembly instructions and procedures
  • Experience with lot traceability and material control concepts
  • Experience with data entry and shop floor tracking using a personal computer
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform repetitive workstation or assembly line operations
  • Competence in safe use of sharp tools

+-Director, Quality Assurance

EndoGastric Solutions, Inc. is a fast-growth medical technology company headquartered in Redmond, Washington. The company is revolutionizing the fields of upper gastroenterology diseases including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other GI disorders.

We currently have an opportunity for a Director of Quality Assurance to provide Quality System leadership in maintaining and improving the Company’s Quality Management System and to play a key strategic role in regulatory compliance, Quality department management and developing/reporting Quality objectives and metrics.

Responsibilities include the following activities

  • Provide regulatory compliance experience/knowledge to facilitate resolution of quality management system issues
  • Serve as a focal point on Quality matters including CAPA and continual improvement activities in Operations
  • Supervise product complaint investigation activities
  • Manage Quality Engineering & Document Control departments
  • Present quality metrics to executive management during management review meetings
  • Overall responsibility for the effectiveness and compliance of the Quality Management System including the Quality Policy and Quality Manual

Position Requirements:

  • BSME or equivalent experience in a medical device environment
  • Thorough knowledge of 21CFR820 Quality System and ISO13485:2016 Regulations
  • Fifteen or more years of Quality Engineering experience in a medical device manufacturing environment
  • Minimum seven years management experience in Quality Assurance
  • Experience with both Supplier Management and WIP quality processes
  • Experience hosting FDA inspections and ISO Notified Body audits
  • Proficiency generating/revising tier-two/three quality system documents
  • Experience with generating risk management reports
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to communicate technical information

+-Regional Sales Manager – West Region

Reports to: Vice President, Sales
Status: Regular, Full Time, Exempt, Field Position

Job Summary: RSM is a field-based sales management position working closely with their team to achieve sales and profit targets for EGS. Manage and provide leadership and direction to a group of sales representatives within an assigned geographic region. Responsible for generating new opportunities, hiring, planning, goal setting, training and motivating staff to achieve goals. Responsible for sales including but not limited to prospecting, recruiting surgeons and gastroenterologists for training, qualifying leads, quoting, demonstrating devices, closing orders as well as ensuring that the region exceeds its targeted goals and sales objectives. Reporting on competitive activities as well as supporting Marketing and Clinical needs in the field.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Role model professional sales leadership in every aspect of this position.
  • Responsible for the recruitment, training, appraisal, motivations and standards of job performance of the individuals within the sales team.
  • Motivate the sales team in a professional manner to maximize sales performance
  • Evaluate sales representatives by providing both positive and critical feedback based on the sales representative’s performance
  • Responsible for termination and replacement of sales representatives not performing to standards set forth by EGS
  • Work with sales representatives in the field to assist them in attaining sales objectives and quotas
  • Ensure that sales productivity is high, and costs are acceptable by ensuring that sales resources are planned and used in the optimum manner.
  • Create and manage forecasts; develop sales plan and strategies for regional activities.
  • Create and manage the sales budget for the region, managing to cost and headcount numbers.
  • Communicate with customers, prospective customers and sales representatives in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for technical knowledge of EGS products including but not limited to the following:

  • Work with sales representatives to conduct patient and referral seminars in each territory on a monthly basis.

  • Bachelor’s Degree and experience in OR or GI setting presenting device products with a proven track record of results

Reports to: Director, Market Development
Status: Regular, Full Time, Exempt, Field (located near major hub)

Job Summary: The Market Development Manager will focus on increasing utilization with both existing and new customers through the implementation of program development and integrated marketing initiatives with targeted customers (hospitals, medical facilities, physicians, office staff, etc.). The position works closely with the PDMs that manage aligned territories and customers to ensure alignment of account level goals, strategies, and tactics.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize established processes and programs to coach PDM’s, customers and hospital marketing personal to develop local marketing strategies and plans that align with customer objectives, budget and capabilities.
  • Develop and implement Program Development plans designed to increase TIF procedure volume with targeted customers.
  • Collaborate with Regional Managers and Program Development Managers on customer specific strategies and tactics.
  • Follow-up with customers on agreed upon execution plan with the goal of creating month-over-month procedure volume growth.
  • Establish metrics with each customer and follow-up to collect data for analysis.
  • Implement local digital marketing programs that simultaneously promote our customers and our technology
  • Educate and train physicians and medical staff on best practices for marketing the TIF procedure
  • Other projects and assignments as required.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Three to five years’ related marketing experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or other high growth industry required
+-Supplier Quality Engineer

Based in Redmond, WA, EndoGastric Solutions, Inc. (www.endogastricsolutions.com) is a medical device company focused on developing and commercializing innovative, evidence-based, incisionless surgical technology for the treatment of GERD.

We currently have an opportunity for a senior level Supplier Quality Engineer with responsibilities including coordinating suppliers and verifying quality standards in accordance with the requirements of the Company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze supplier performance and provide supplier and component tracking metric results to management
  • Develop Supplier qualification requirements and determine supplier status
  • Create supplier performance communication tools, e.g. Supplier Scorecards
  • Develop, review, comment on and approve product change documentation
  • Demonstrate use of quality tools/methodologies including statistical analysis, DOE and MSA (Gage R&R)
  • Mentor, review and approve component acceptance activity requirements developed by Engineering and/or Quality Assurance

Position Qualifications:

  • BSME or equivalent experience in a medical device environment
  • Seven or more years of relevant medical device industry experience desirable
  • Ability to lead quality and supplier interaction meetings
  • Full understanding of part qualification processes
  • Thorough knowledge of engineering drawing requirements including GT& D
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills with ability to work both independently and in a team environment and to present detailed technical data to internal personnel
  • Effective oral/written communications skills with preferences in technical writing, presentations, reports, data analysis, etc.
  • Proficient in analyzing product/component data to perform statistical and trend reporting
  • Thorough knowledge of common inspection tools and practices
  • Preference for Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Supplier Quality Professional
